SIX Swiss Exchange, Switzerland’s paramount stock exchange, has made a new appointment to its board of directors, selecting Sabir Sheikh to spearhead its issuer regulation, along with Jared Bibler who will handle trading oversight at the group, according to a company statement.
The moves have already been approved by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), which emphasize SIX’s commitment to regulation and trading oversight domestically. As such, the Management Committee of SIX Exchange Regulation under Corinne Riguzzi will be fully staffed following the appointments.
