He steps into his new role after garnering a lengthy career in the institutional space, having focused the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, as well as e-FX sales – he joins IS Prime from Bloomberg Tradebook.
While at Tradebook, Mr. Buxton worked for over three years in Bloomberg’s e-FX sales unit, a position he was promoted to in 2013. In addition, he also held other roles at Bloomberg, including a three-year stint as its relationship manager in the UK. In this capacity he was tasked with the planning, development, and execution the group’s strategy. Additional roles at Bloomberg also include time spent in analytics and customer support, dating back to 2008, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.
