Euronext Promotes Maurice van Tilburg to CEO

The Eurozone’s leading exchange Euronext, has appointed Maurice van Tilburg as its newest chief executive officer (CEO) of Euronext Amsterdam,

euronextThe Eurozone’s leading exchange, Euronext, has appointed Maurice van Tilburg as its newest chief executive officer (CEO) of Euronext Amsterdam, pending the usual formality of regulatory approvals.

Mr. Van Tilburg assumes the role of CEO at Euronext with over two decades of experience across the financial and exchange sectors. He will be a member of the managing board of Euronext and will be reporting to Dominique Cerutti, Group CEO.

Prior to his role as CEO, Mr. Van Tilburg served as the head of business projects & design of the european equity and equity derivatives markets at Euronext.

According to Dominique Cerutti, CEO of Euronext, in a recent statement on the appointment, “We are delighted to appoint Maurice van Tilburg as CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. Our country CEOs play a key role in building relationships with their local market in order to respond better to our client needs and to enhance access to sources of capital for our local communities.”

“Maurice is a team player with a deep and lengthy track record in all parts of the chain. His experience and expertise in the exchange sector will help understand the needs of the Dutch market and deliver solutions that fit within our efficient pan European market model,” he added.
