The Board of AIP Global Holdings Limited is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into an agreement with My First Investments Limited (“MFIL”) to acquire a controlling interest in Australian-based GO Markets Pty Limited (“GO Markets”), a leading online financial services business headquartered in Melbourne, Australia (the “Transaction”).
The Transaction also gives AIP Global majority seats on the Board of GO Markets, which will be taken up by AIP Global Chief Executive Officer Yuhi Horiguchi. GO Markets is a multi award-winning (AFR Smart Investor Blue Ribbon Award 2009, 2010 & 2011, IB Times Best Forex Broker Australia 2011) Australian registered company (AFSL licence number 254963) providing online-based financial services to an extensive client base in Australia and overseas. AIP Global’s investment strategy is to provide shareholders with an attractive return on their investment through capital appreciation, by investing in financial services businesses worldwide which the Directors believe are likely to achieve a trade sale or an IPO.
