Management changes at OANDA continue with the appointment of Rajesh Yohannan as the new Managing Director & CEO, OANDA Asia Pacific, to be based in Singapore. Previously this position was manned by K Duker who then went ahead to become the global CEO. OANDA is focusing quite a lot on mobile technologies lately and it’s no coincidence that Rajesh was formerly global mobile banking head of Citibank. Recently OANDA announced a significant update to its OANDA fxTrade mobile applications for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices adding functionality such as customisable charts and price alerts.
Earlier this year Jesper Bruun-Olsen, previously Managing Director, Asia-Pacific at Tradeweb Japan, was appointed as Managing Director of Northeast Asia and Head of OANDA Japan, and Stacey Grant-Thompson, previously Vice President and General Manager of Chatr at Rogers, as group CMO.
