After 15 years of relying on MetaTrader, FP Markets is expanding its trading platforms offering.
The company wants to further shape the trading experience of its clients.
FP Markets,
an online financial trading services provider, has expanded its suite of retail
trading platforms. The existing software offering from MetaQuotes has been
complemented by Spotware Systems' flagship tool, cTrader.
FP Markets
has been in the retail trading business for 18 years and offers more than
10,000 different contracts for difference (CFDs) products. According to Craig Allison, the
FP Markets Chief Executive Officer, the cTrader addition will allow the broker
to offer clients "the choice to shape their trading experience further."
According
to a study conducted by Finance Magnates Intelligence last year, cTrader
is one of the most popular alternatives to MetaQuotes. In the survey, in which
traders answered what they would choose instead of MetaTrader 4 or 5, 53% of
respondents pointed to the Spotware Systems platform, 27% chose Match-Trader,
12% chose Leverate, and 8% chose X Open Hub.
FP Markets
was recently included in a list of the top 10 brokers in Australia published by
Finance Magnates. Opening a trading account requires only AUD 100, but
for those who are still new to trading, opening a demo account is also simple
and straightforward. This allows you to gain insight into what's happening
"under the hood" and learn the ropes before diving into live trading.
Important Upgrades in
cTrader
FP
Markets clients will now be able to take advantage of the expanded
functionality of the cTrader platform, which has made several significant
updates in recent months. In addition, the company has started investing in upgrading its infrastructure to meet the higher demand for cTrader among
brokers.
Two weeks
ago, Spotware Systems presented Chart Streams feature in the cTrader Web app. With
the Chart Streams feature, users can share their technical analysis with their
audience 24/7 simply by sending a link. Even those who are not registered in
cTrader can view a Chart Stream in guest mode.
In December
2022, the company introduced copy trading feature to CTrader Desktop. The
update means that cTrader users can now access "a thousand
strategies" and "intellectual filtering and one-click copy trading
start." Previously, this feature was only available on cTrader Web and
Mobile.
Moreover, the
mobile version of the app got an update recently. Its latest release
includes a shared account feature.
New Hires in FP Markets
Recently, the retail
trading broker informed about two new executives joining its ranks. The company has picked Richmond Zalavarria, the former Senior Business
Development Manager at IronFX, as the company's Head of Business Development
and Sales. In his new role, Zalavarria is responsible for the company's overall
operations related to its Sales and Business Development Department.
In the
meantime, Mario Ivaylov has been appointed as the Team Leader of Trading
Systems. After serving as Senior Customer Service Officer at NAGA for nine
months in Limassol, Cyprus, he joined FP markets. Before that, he worked as
Senior Customer Support at IC Markets from 2019 to 2021 and held the position
of Customer Support Specialist at ProgressPlay for over a year.
