AURA FX Appoints Travis Parker as Global Sales Director

Travis joined Aura-FX to create a B2B offering that is designed to be both flexible and scalable.

AURA FX (NZ) Limited, a New Zealand-based forex broker, has hired Travis Parker as Global Sales Director and Managing Director of Shanghai Office. Parker, who has more than 12 years of sales and product management experience, has worked with internationally known brands, most recently as Director of Sales at Institutional Liquidity Pty LTD – ILQ AU.

Travis’ proven track record covers an accomplished career in sales, product and account management. He began his career as an NFA registered introducing broker where he developed the offering and business model of Forex.com as an IB.

In his last venture from 2011 to 2015, Travis was responsible for rebuilding the ILQ’s B2B broker offering in the United States which helped ILQ evolve to a recognized global entity until his departure.

Travis joined Aura-FX to create a B2B offering that is designed to be both flexible and scalable. He has established a global network and infrastructure to offer the B2B marketplace a global hub to access cutting edge technologies and liquidity. Aura created a back office to allow the B2B partner the ability to manage its clients autonomously from a central hub.

Commenting on his appointment, Travis Parker said: “Most brokers fail to achieve the required dedication to a pure B2B model and therefore lack the stability and consistency necessary for long term growth.   Having a brokerage that can provide all of this – is something special.”
