Admiral Markets Appoints New General Manager and Compliance Officer

Admiral Markets recently made a series of changes to its management structure.

London-based financial trading provider Admiral Markets UK Ltd. has hired Windsor Brokers executive Simon Roberts as the company’s new General Manager. The FCA-regulated broker has also on-boarded the regulation expert Stephen Ayme to head its compliance department, according to a company statement.

Admiral Markets has recently made a series of changes to its management structure, appointing three new board members earlier last month.

Simon Roberts joins Admiral Markets from Cyprus-based FX broker Windsor Brokers where he spent the last two years in the capacity of Business Development Consultant. In addition, he was Managing Director at SCP Consultants Limited, a role he will retain during his tenure with Admiral Markets.

Simon was an approved Director with the UK’s FCA and he brings more than three decades of experience in operations, compliance and corporate governance across the financial services industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Simon Roberts said: “I’m excited to join Admiral Markets and honoured to be leading such a talented group of people. I’m confident that my background and subsequent expertise will add value to the company.”

Meanwhile, Stephen Ayme has been appointed as Head of Compliance at Admiral Markets UK Ltd. Mr. Ayme has extensive international experience in financial regulations, banking and asset management. He most recently served as Compliance Officer and MLRO at JCI Capital Limited. Prior to that, Stephen held a number of senior regulatory roles including Compliance Officer and MLRO at AEW Europe LLP and AEW UK Investment Management LLP.

Mr. Ayme commented: “I joined Admiral Markets at an exciting time and I am looking forward to leading a compliance team that will rise to the regulatory challenges and provide excellent support to the business.”
