One of the fastest-growing financial technology companies, Monty Finance announced today that it has officially launched its services in the European region. The UK-headquartered fintech firm has launched MyMonty, an efficient digital banking service, and MontyPay, a technology-driven digital payment gateway system that helps vendors to collect payments seamlessly, in Europe.

The fintech company is now offering its new digital banking service and payment gateway in the UK and in all European markets. Monty Finance announced the launch of its suite of fintech products in Europe at Money 20/20, the world’s biggest fintech conference. In addition to the UK and EU, MontyPay is live in Jordan, Bahrain, Nigeria, Indonesia and Singapore.

“After a soft launch of our services here earlier this year, we couldn’t be more delighted to now officially enter Europe. Our vision is to connect people around the globe, and this represents a huge step in that process. Europe is the most mature fintech market in the world, but we are still seeing large underserved demographics that are not fully satisfied with the existing financial services,” Bruno Martorano, the CEO of Monty Finance, said.

“Expats and immigrants, for example, still struggle to access local banking and are dealing with a lot of red tape in the traditional banking industry. Being able to help people financially connect with their families and to help businesses succeed in the global economy is a privilege and we’re expecting huge outcomes from this region,” Martorano added.

MyMonty and MontyPay

MyMonty is a new digital neo-banking platform, currently available for B2C and undergoing a major expansion to enable other fintech players. MontyPay is a payment gateway that transforms vendors’ ability to do business internationally.

“What we’re seeing is that a lack of human intervention is a big source of frustration for digital banking users. So, besides offering people a fast, secure, regulated, and easily accessible digital banking experience, We are also rolling out soon hybrid customer support channels, including a video call feature, while committing to [a] speedy customer complaint resolution to make sure we are there for them every step of the way,” Charles Matta, the SVP of MyMonty, said.

Noel Moukheiber, the GM of MontyPay, commented: “MontyPay is designed with the user experience in mind. It will empower merchants with a dedicated merchant mobile app that gives them access to a reporting dashboard for easy tracking and monitoring.”
