SuperDerivatives has announced that its DataX market data solution has been chosen by Swedish national pension fund, AP3. Known for their derivatives analysis and valuation solutions, SuperDerivatives' products are used by many banks and investment houses to price and mark-to-market products such as swaps, options and futures. DataX solution is a cross-asset market data that provides both real-time and historical pricing and Volatility levels of derivatives.

According to SuperDerivatives in their public statement about the news, AP3 has also selected to use the firm’s DGX web-based market data offering which was launched last year. A rival to the Bloomberg Terminal, among DGX’s unique features, and possibly its greatest selling point is the ability for customers to choose to only purchase specific news and pricing data individual asset classes, such as currencies, interest rates, credit, equities and commodities. This differs from other Analytics offerings such as the Bloomberg Terminal which are sold as a complete package with a fixed price.

Commenting about the news, Mattias Bylund, Chief Risk Officer at AP3, stated, “As a national pension fund tasked with generating investment returns, accurate market data is vital to making informed trading decisions and precise valuation. SuperDerivatives provides the best guarantee of this, with its history of supplying quality market data for over a decade across a range of financial products and markets.”
