Green Key Technologies, a trading-centric voice-software provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with RANSquawk, a provider of real-time audio news for the financial markets, according to a Green Key statement.
RANSquawk has carved out a niche in the industry as a provider of audio analysis including economic releases, government inventory releases, and central bank speakers, across all asset classes. The group will combine forces with Green Key’s cloud-based software turret to help streamline the delivery and exposure of the utility.
Overall, Green Key’s VoIP network presently includes over 225 banks, brokerage firms, and trading venues, which will look to garner increased coverage via its reinforced software turret, per the partnership with RANSquawk.

According to Anthony Tassone, CEO for Green Key, in a recent statement on the partnership, “RANSquawk is the premier squawk provider with the largest global audience. This partnership enables our customers to have squawk delivered directly into their soft turret from any location, across any asset class, 24 hours a day.”
“Green Key is the future of voice trading technology. This partnership enables our customers to consume our market leading squawk services via a software turret, which is tremendously cheaper and more mobile than their existing hardware infrastructure. We believe this partnership will cement RANSquawk’s position as the No 1 audio news provider for traders globally,” added Ranvir Singh, CEO for RANSquawk, in an accompanying statement.
Last month, Green Key brought in former ICE executive, Ray McKenzie, to serve as its Head of North American Sales. Mr. McKenzie has since been tasked with managing the group’s North American expansion and Trader Voice capabilities in the region. Most recently he worked as the Head of US Sales at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).
