Metaquotes update causes havoc over the weekend

Metaquotes made an automatic update to its Manager API over the weekend, although the change was scheduled for June 1st, which caused havoc to Metatrader brokers and providers worldwide.

Any provider/broker who was using the old Manager API or who managed to override the Server API through client terminal protocol is now experiencing severe problems and must update its code.

Providers who asked not to be named report that what was in particularly affected is the reporting functionality which in turn affected Marketing campaigns and other various plugins which were dependent on it.

This change may have taken place due to Metaquote's battle with firms that override client terminal to server protocol.
