Straits Financial Group announced this Wednesday in a joint press release, that it has teamed up with Integral, a foreign exchange (forex) technology company, in order to deploy new eFX workflow automation and trading technology.

Straits Financial is a Singapore-headquartered brokerage house. The company offers derivatives and OTC products for its global client base to trade. According to the statement, the firm has partnered with Integral to drive business growth.

In particular, Integral’s BankFX has been selected by Straits Financial. Built on the FX technology company’s cloud technology, BankFX is a ready-to-go solution that gives companies all the required features needed to operate a multi-level eFX operation.

Commenting on the partnership, Raymond Mok, Straits Financial Global Head of FX, said: “We partnered with Integral having sought technology that met the high level of service our customers expect."

“The platform is incredibly flexible and can be easily configured and automated. As a leading Asian financial institution, Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) in local currency markets are very important to us as well as our clients. Integral’s ability to deliver NDFs on an always-on streaming basis, is significant for our partnership.”

Integral and the Singapore-based brokerage house collaborated together to shape BankFX into a bespoke solution to Straits Financial’s existing customers. The platform offers full automation of the broker’s eFX workflow, including pricing and Risk Management tools, alongside a customizable Trading Platform and mobile trading app.

“Working with Straits Financial, we deployed a full-service solution that was completely customizable, allowing them to deliver a fully bespoke FX service to their customers while improving operational efficiency.”
