IG's New Insight - Trade with Information at your finger tips

IG Markets the worlds largest spread betting firm have launched their brand new research service for CFD and spread betting traders. The group established for over 35 years have been pioneers in derivatives trading for retail clients and have now made it easier and simpler for traders to conduct in-depth analysis when making trading decisions.

Insight is a brand new service which sits on the award-winning Pure Deal platform where clients can get up to date information on interest rate decision or non far payroll numbers and instantly apply that information to their trading and execute on the pure deal platform.

With fundamentals playing a key role in price movements brokers have been pushing the research card. IG's Chief Market Analyst David Jones states "We launched it as a way of bringing together all of the relevant information our clients need in one central location, in addition to adding functionality such as our client sentiment indicator. I think in this day and age there is a wealth of information freely available online, but you may have to visit several website to get that info - Insight is one way that we thought we could make this much easier to find and categorise by market type".

He continues "Because clients now have this information all in one place, plus charts and the ability to trade direct from insight, clearly we are hoping that it helps simplify the trading process and make it easier and quicker to react to developments across a wide range of markets. In addition, using our client sentiment indicator they can see what other IG clients are doing and decide whether they want to follow the crowd, or trade against it".

IG has been expanding its global footprint when it purchased FXOnline in Japan. They have been recognised in the investment trends report as a prefered broker in UK, Australia and Singapore.

The have evolved the social network by offering 'a birds eye view' of what other IG clients are trading, David adds " In addition, using our client sentiment indicator they can see what other IG clients are doing and decide whether they want to follow the crowd, or trade against it".

IG ended the 2011 financial year with a 7.3% increase in trading revenue.
