Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd (ANZ) has named Ivy Au Yeung as its newest Chief Executive Officer for its Hong Kong-based unit in a bid to grow the group’s retail, commercial and institutional business in the region.
ANZ is one of the largest banking groups in the Australia-Pacific (APAC) region, offering a wealth of financial services across Forex, equities, fixed income, etc. Earlier this month, the group appointed Mary MacLeod as its CFO of International and Institutional operations.

Mrs. Yeung has been with ANZ since 2011, where she started as its Managing Director of Commercial Banking for the APAC region. Prior to ANZ, Mrs. Yeung held a lengthy tenure in senior management at Standard Chartered. In her new role Mr. Yeung will be reporting to Farhan Faruqui, ANZ’s CEO, International Banking.
