Nomura Asset Management UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Nomura Holdings Inc., has appointed Andreas Koerner as its newest Head of Marketing and Client Relations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), according to a recent Reuters report.

In his new role as Nomura Asset Management, Mr. Koerner will focus on the bank’s relationships in the region, while being strategically based out of Europe. He will be replacing Mark Roxburgh, who is relinquishing his role and retiring at the end of the month, following a 15-year stint with Nomura.

Mr. Roxburgh has been a part of Nomura Asset Management since 1999, having since held a number of roles with the group. He has most recently served as its Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Client Relations in Germany.

Prior to this role, Mr. Roxburgh also served as the Director of UK Clients at Morley Fund Management for a period of three years dating back to 1996.

Earlier this month, Nomura reshuffled its structured products business, naming John Goff as its newest Head of Global Markets. The promotion came after a successful three-year tenure at the Japanese securities house, in which Mr. Goff had overseen and managed the development of Nomura’s structured products platform.
