Madrid Exchange Volumes Jump 30% MoM in October
- Spain's main financial trading venue, Bolsa de Madrid, has reported trading activity for October. The exchange saw activity skyrocket both from figures reported a month earlier and those reported a year earlier.

- The ICE has posted its September volume figures. During the month, ADV of its futures and options products was 3,223,927 contracts, 3% below the same period last year, but 8.5% above August’s figures.

- The CME Group has released total volumes of its FX products for September. During the month, combined futures and options volumes totaled 16,501,853 contracts, 0.6% above August’s figures, and 16.1% below 2012.

- The CME Group has posted its total trading volumes for August. During the month, total futures and options volumes rose 12.5% MoM to 238,980,256 contracts. In FX, volumes fell 7.7% from July's figures.

- Paced by gains in Japanese yen trading, FX volumes at the CME Group continued to expand during 2013. During the month, total FX volumes rose 7.0% from May. Also gaining were Equity Index products, where volumes rose 24.9%.

- The CME Group announced that it had recorded an all-time high for single day volumes last week on May 29th. On the day, 26,947,300 contracts were traded, which surpassed the previous high of 25,734,651 on August 9, 2011.
