QuantHouse, an independent global provider of market and trading data through the use of API-based technologies, announced on Monday that it has added Actant’s derivative trading solutions to its API Ecosystem.
Actant is a provider of trading solutions to financial firms that trade on major derivatives and stock exchanges. The company offers its services to proprietary trading and market making firms, investment banks and hedge funds.
The addition of Actant’s technology will give QuantHouse API Ecosystem customers access to further derivative and risk analytics services. These services give market data in real-time and are available via a single API. In addition, Actant can now offer fully hosted solutions around the world.
Commenting on the announcement, John Superson, Head of Strategy at QuantHouse, said: “we have been actively building out our one stop API ecosystem shop for Quant traders to ensure our clients have access to a broad range of new technologies which they leverage and add to their tailor-made solutions

The QuantHouse API Ecosystem
The ecosystem aims to provide a framework where capital market participants can access trading venues, technologies or applications. This is provided through APIs. The ecosystem community consists of buy- and sell-side participants, exchanges, prime brokers, trading venues and a range of other financial institutions.
Earlier this year, Finance Magnates reported that CMC Markets had added its offering to the QuantHouse API Ecosystem. This opened access to the independent global provider’s market data feeds and enabled trading via its APIs.
