ITRS Group, a global technology provider of investment banks, currency exchanges and brokers, has released its Geneos interface, a comprehensive monitoring interface for Murex, a provider of fx and asset trading solutions, according to a recent ITRS statement.
Indeed, Murex serves a multitude of operations ranging from equities to forex, necessitating a professional monitoring tool that is capable of disseminating and providing real-time systems performance and operating metrics. Enter Geneos, a cumulative effort by ITRS and Excelian, a consultancy firm that specializes in financial sector operations. The Geneos interface provides real-time clarity for the business operations – it successfully collects and analyses a vast pool of financial data in a time-sensitive manner.

Collaboration Fosters Client Offering from End-To-End
According to Jeremy Ward, CEO of Excelian, “Client satisfaction is our ultimate aim and our highest priority. Our clients perceive us as the best in class for the integration of some of the most complex and specialist technologies in the financial services and commodities sectors. Working with ITRS has enabled us to offer clients an end-to-end and real-time view of their Murex landscape.”
The landmark Geneos interface should optimize financial data streams for clients who consistently grapple risk management. As such, the initiative is a result of a growing demand for a more real-time perspective of post-trade operations. “Working with Excelian has provided a great opportunity for ITRS to bring an advanced monitoring solution to a large, combined client base. The Murex trading platform is highly developed and a market leader with numerous global financial clients worldwide,” added Kevin Covington, CEO of ITRS, in a corresponding statement.
