OptionsCity Software, a provider of futures and options trading and analytics solutions, has been selected by Nasdaq as its newest provider of settlement price solutions on its Nasdaq Futures, Inc. (NFX) exchange.
The main instrument that will be utilized on the NFX is its derivatives contracts. As a result of the integration with OptionsCity, its settlement solution will tap into its Metro NOW platform, affording users streamlined pricing and risk-management analytics.
NFX represents an expansion to Nasdaq’s existing global commodities business, whilst offering energy benchmarks to a multitude of market. Currently, the NFX offers energy futures in oil, gas, and U.S. power, as well as a horizontal clearing model operated by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).
