In particular, the newly engineered app is slated for release next month and will feature full integration with GreenKey's software and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network along with its existing turret (lines and hardware) capabilities. The launch is important as it will help streamline the use of secure turret functionality, available through the mobile app, which will also include push-to-talk functionality.

The new app also comes equipped with several new functions, such as the ability to place outbound calls or accepting incoming calls with full recording capability and transcription. Moreover, the app will fully assimilate with GreenKey’s existing legacy hard turrets via its Voice Gateway service.

According to GreenKey Chief Product Officer (CPO) Anthony Tassone, in a recent statement on the launch, "We're thrilled to launch our 'pocket turret.' This nimble, lightweight app will allow brokers and traders to Leverage our collaboration tools anywhere they go, while remaining compliant with full recording and transcription capability."

"We're bringing our open-office collaborative experience to clients' mobile devices, ensuring that market participants stay compliant with their voice and chat messages no matter what device they use,” reiterated Paul Kaperak, GreenKey Product Manager, in an accompanying statement.
