AU10TIX Adds Japanese to its ID Authentication and Costumer Onboarding Platform

AU10TIX, a subsidiary of ICTS International N.V, has unveiled a new language support module for its BOS Online ID Authentication platform, helping onboard Japanese citizens with the use of new character sets, according to an AU10TIX statement.

AU10TIX provides a cascade of services for the authentication and digitization of document identification. Given the need to grapple with multiple languages and character sets in the financial services industry, such a service is at a premium for trading platforms and brokers looking to expand their clientele into diverse regions.

To this end, AU10TIX has launched a second generation ID authentication and onboarding platform, catering specifically to individuals who utilize Japanese, Cyrillic (Russian and Eastern-European), Chinese, and Hebrew characters.

The improvement is noteworthy at it will help streamline the onboarding of myriad new individuals who previously had to rely on foreign character sets. This will also pave the way for new services and opportunities to non-Latinized markets, which already stand to provide the highest levels of growth moving forward in the financial and markets space.

More specifically, the AU10TIX BOS is the company’s 2nd generation online ID document authentication, and it will work to auto-classify Japanese texts inside Japanese government-issued ID documents. This advent will also be helpful for cross-border service providers in banking, Payments , remittance, money-transfer, foreign exchange (FX), investments and numerous other KYC regulated avenues.

According to Ron Atzmon, Managing Director of AU10TIX, in a recent statement on the support: “As AU10TIX broadens global reach Japan has been high on our priority list as it is on the list of many regulated service providers. We already have demands for this capability and we see it growing rapidly already in the near future”
