JPMorgan Appoints John Horner as Chief Investment Officer

JPMorgan has appointed John Horner as its newest Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer.

JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) has appointed John Horner as its newest Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), succeeding Craig Delany who retired last month, according a recent Reuters report.

Last month, JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) named James Ferguson as the head of its global alternative investment services operations following a sixteen-year stint with the bank.

Mr. Horner has been a mainstay at JPMorgan, having most recently been promoted from his previous role as the head of investor services in the corporate and investment bank management team.

In his new role as the CIO, Mr. Horner will continue to exercise responsibility for private label mortgage resolutions at JPMorgan. He originally joined the US lender in 2002. Replacing Mr. Horner will be James Kenny, who is now slated to take over the position of head of investor services.
