ICC International Cannabis Corp. has teamed up with GreenTree International Inc (GTI), the parent company of Amercanex. Together, the two companies will work towards creating the first completely electronic cannabis market platform in the world.

The main aim of ICC is to establish and operate high-quality, low-cost Cannabis production, processing, and distribution facilities worldwide. GTI, as mentioned above, is the parent company of Amercanex, which operates ACExchange.

As per the agreement, ICC recently made an investment into GTI. As a result, it has become one of the firm’s largest shareholders.

Amercanex and ICC to Create New International Cannabis Exchange

As part of the partnership, the companies will collaborate to deploy Amercanex’s electronic cannabis market (ECM) across International Cannabis’ current and future operation jurisdictions. They will create a new International Cannabis Exchange (Intercanex).

In a regulatory statement, ICC said: "the marriage of International Cannabis and Amercanex creates the world’s first fully electronic cannabis marketplace where cultivators, wholesale distributors and retail vendors can buy and sell their inventory in a fully transparent market across a variety of high growth jurisdictions.”

Commenting on this, long-time Forex industry executive and chief executive of Amercanex, Steve Janjic, said: "Amercanex's online transactional platform is transforming the way business decisions are made within the cannabis and hemp industry."

“We can identify various market opportunities, expand product availability to consumers and ultimately revolutionize how business owners understand their customer's needs and overall market trends."

"ICC is one of the most successful and well-known brands in this space, which is why we’re thrilled they will help develop the Amercanex platform for wholesale global market distribution."

As a result of the partnership, Amercanex will gain access to ICC’s distribution network. This consists of more than 110 clients who represent approximately 38,000 pharmacies in 17 countries.

Speaking on the partnership, Eugene Beukman, the CEO and director of International Cannabis, added: "Amercanex offers a transparent and secure marketplace that will allow International Cannabis to continue to operate in a forum with clear regulatory oversight."

"This partnership provides International Cannabis with all the tools needed to monitor, track and audit orders and activities of Cannabis and Hemp market participants."

"International Cannabis and Amercanex’s strategic alliance complements our shared visions to become worldwide leaders in the Cannabis and hemp industries."
