Amercanex, which operates the electronic cannabis ACE Marketplace, today announced to Finance Magnates a landmark partnership with Dixie Brands Inc., providing Dixie’s Affiliates by state, the rights to conduct wholesale distribution of the Dixie Elixirs and Edibles line, on the American Cannabis Exchange.

Specifically, Dixie will become not only a referral partner for Amercanex, but the two companies will design a system to support the sale of infused products that will enable both Dixie and Amercanex to target the non-commodity aspects of the growing Cannabis market in Colorado as well as all other states in which Dixie products are sold.

"Amercanex’s online transactional platform is transforming the way business decisions are made within the Cannabis Industry by identifying varying market opportunities, expanding product availability to consumers, and ultimately revolutionizing how business owners understand their customer’s needs and overall market trends,” said Steve Janjic, CEO of Amercanex.

“We’re thrilled to have Dixie help us develop the Amercanex platform for wholesale infused products as they are clearly one of the most successful and well-known brands in that space. Our goal at Amercanex remains simple: we want to be the premiere ECM (Electronic Cannabis Market) of choice by both industry professionals as well as state government and regulatory enforcement bodies. By the very nature of this partnership between Amercanex and Dixie, we believe we’re well on our way.”

In leveraging Amercanex’s technology platform, Dixie hopes to grow their customer base, build stronger partnerships and create new opportunities for the marketing and sale of their products. Amercanex will benefit from Dixie’s experience while developing a platform that can be used across all legal states for branded wholesale products that are non-flower based. Long term, the platform will build a database of industry trends and user preferences to help companies in making data-driven marketing and product decisions.

“This is an exciting development not only for Dixie and Amercanex, but, for wholesale manufacturers throughout the cannabis industry,” said Chuck Smith, Dixie Brands, Inc. Chief Operating Officer. “There is a very clear demand for infused products, but a direct sales team can only cover a finite amount of territory with the high-touch model that currently drives the market."

"In helping Amercanex innovate this electronic marketplace platform to serve the wholesale infused products market in addition to the standard flower market, we believe we will reach an entirely new and currently underserved customer base. We look forward to providing access to this game-changing platform to our customers and affiliates in all of the states we serve.”

How it works

Licensed marijuana dispensaries who sell Dixie Elixirs products in time will need to become Amercanex Transacting Members by purchasing an Exchange Seat and completing a vetting process. The ECM model will provide clients with full market transparency and greater control of the buy/sell process, enabling better pricing, full regulatory reporting and ultimately lowering costs, as the firm expects.

This provides ACE Transacting Members with an online platform which can drive real-time response to market opportunities. Implementation of transportation services including the ability to calculate both transportation and tax costs as a function of the overall transaction within the ACE Marketplace will assist both Amercanex and Dixie Elixirs in strengthening their relationships with customers and partners, increase productivity and reduce overall costs.
