Veteran Institutional Editor at Forex Magnates, Adil Siddiqui, will be stepping down from his position after a 4-year stint. The experienced markets professional will be engaging in new challenges and activities.

“It’s a great honour to have been part of an amazing operation that has altered the way modern financial news is reported," Mr. Siddiqui said in a statement on his departure. "Over the years the brand has accelerated its growth and justly earned its recognition as an industry leader.”

Finance Magnates is a global provider of multi-asset trading news, research and events for the trading industry, with special focus on electronic trading, banking, and investing. From its inception in 2009 as Forex Magnates, the firm's core business has been in the B2B segment of foreign Exchange trading.

“As the industry evolves I believe Forex Magnates’ migration to Finance Magnates is an obvious development of the brand’s content and business strategy,” he added.

Mr. Siddiqui has been an integral figure at Finance Magnates. Among his responsibilities as institutional FX editor, he was tasked with fostering Finance Magnates entry into the institutional markets by covering specific news relating to; FX prime brokerage, banking, high frequency trading, technology, market-data, listed venues, and other institutional-focused topics, as well as extending the brand into new geographies and regions.

In addition, he has regularly hosted and moderated panel discussions at industry related conferences and events across the globe, including Hong Kong, Limassol, Istanbul, London, Macau, and Amsterdam.

Mr. Siddiqui has started his career in banking at Lloyds TSB, having later entered the competitive financial trading realm where he gained exposure to the world of margin derivatives at CMC Markets, ODL Securities, and Alpari UK.

Moreover, he has served as a business analyst at Wall Street Systems and is an acting senior staff member at TradeNext & the Crown group of Companies. Mr. Siddiqui will continue to act as an external consultant to Finance Magnates.
