MetaQuotes CEO Calls On MT4 Traders to Switch to MT5
Enabling hedging came after years of demand and the firm expects it will encourage more brokers to adopt MT5.

MetaQuotes Software Corp. today released a new version of its MetaTrader 5 platform, now offering an hedging option as we reported in March. The firm’s head used the opportunity to call upon the many users of its MT4 platform to make the switch.
“Why use two platforms, when you can access all the required functionality in one of them?” said Renat Fatkhullin, CEO of MetaQuotes Software Corp. “MetaTrader 5 is not just a multi-asset platform, now it offers specific features for different financial markets. The netting trading system is available for exchange traders, while forex traders can use the familiar hedging mode.”

MQ has invested heavily in mt5 development but seems to lack understanding as to what real traders desire. Stable platform with ability of buy/sell automation. Large pool of… Read more »
Considering how long it takes MQ to offer hedging, Web Traders and so on, it should only encourage more brokers to adopt platforms from other vendors.
