ConnextFX added cTrader to its trading platform lineup today (Monday), giving the Seychelles-licensed broker access to Spotware Systems' charting, execution and risk management tools. The retail FX and CFD broker said the move supports its expansion plans across Southeast Asia and Latin America.

ConnextFX was established in 2022 and is led by Simon Andras, a former Tickmill and Blackwell Global executive who became group chief executive in early 2024. The company has built out operations across Southeast Asia and Latin America since then, according to its own materials.

Connext LTD, the group's Seychelles entity, holds a Securities Dealer license from the country's Financial Services Authority. ConnextFX's other unit, Connext LLC, is registered with the Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which does not directly regulate forex trading activity, according to the entity's own disclosures.

Deal Extends cTrader's Push Into Emerging Markets

The addition continues a broker-onboarding push Spotware has run through 2026. In March, an offshore CFD broker based in Saint Lucia added cTrader to its platform lineup for its retail clients.

Spotware also signed TFunded that same month, a prop trading firm built specifically for Latin American traders.

A month later, FundingRock became the platform's newest prop trading client, part of a roster Spotware says has grown past 300 brokers and firms.

ConnextFX's agreement covers a retail broker, not a prop trading firm, and spans two regions, Southeast Asia and Latin America, instead of the single-market focus of the recent prop deals. Across the wider industry, MT5 still accounts for the bulk of CFD trading volume, Finance Magnates has reported, even as cTrader keeps adding brokers to its client list.

"Our partnership with cTrader marks a significant step forward in strengthening our technology stack," Andras said in a statement announcing the tie-up.

Spotware said ConnextFX will also gain access to the cTrader Store, a marketplace the company says lists more than 2,000 trading products and draws more than 10,000 visits a day. The store feeds into Spotware's cTrader Leads program, which the company says is designed to convert marketplace visitors into live trading accounts.

"Connext is taking an ambitious approach to growth, combining innovation with a strong focus on trader needs," said Yiota Hadjilouka, chief operating officer of Spotware Systems.

ConnextFX partners will also get access to a cTrader Store Affiliate Program, giving them two revenue streams: referral commissions from ConnextFX and a share of Store-driven sales, according to Spotware. The company also offers its Open API service to brokers at no extra cost, letting them connect more than 200 third-party FX and CFD services, Spotware said.
