Metaquotes releases iPhone app for MT5
Metaquotes just announced the release of its Metatrader 5 mobile app. The app is available for iPhone, iPod and iPad.

Metaquotes just announced the release of its Metatrader 5 mobile app. The app is available for iPhone, iPod and iPad. This is an interesting move as for the first time Metaquotes releases not only just its platform (which is obviously its core business) but also add-ons such as MT5 mobile app. This cuts the middle-men, the technological companies which develop these apps, assuring that Metaquotes potentially may receive additional revenue streams. It would be interesting to see whether Metaquotes will also do more in this direction, for instance development of liquidity bridges. If it would it would turn this market upside down…

Today we are releasing the mobile version of the MetaTrader 5 Client Terminal for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Now everyone can take advantage of the freedom of mobile trading – the terminal can be downloaded free from AppStore.

Too bad they have no plans to release anything for windows mobile 7.
