DGCX, the rapidly growing commodities based in Dubai, today became the 4th exchange to certify Metatrader 5. Prior to that the Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX), Mauritian Exchange (GBOT) and the Russian Stock Exchange (RTS) certified the Metaquotes flagship platform. This certification allows brokers to offer access to these exchanges through the Metatrader 5 platform. Once this happens the usage of the platform should pick up.

Dubai, April 12, 2012: The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) today announced that the MetaTrader 5 Platform, one of the world’s most widely used platforms for trading in financial markets, has been granted Independent Software (IS) on the Exchange.

The IS of MetaTrader 5 will allow Members of DGCX to use the Platform through a special gateway to provide services to their trading clients. DGCX is one of three new international exchanges for which MetaTrader 5 Platform has introduced support this year.
