The 2023 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) season is set to feature the debut of the innovative BMW M4 GT3 cars, in collaboration with BMW M Motorsport. RoboMarkets, a long-term sponsor of the motorsport team, will continue to showcase its logo on both the upgraded blue BMW M4 GT3 and the official gear of accomplished German racer, René Rast. RoboMarkets Begins DTM Season with New Car and Driver

The 36-year-old Rast is a Schubert Motorsport team member and is considered one of Germany's most accomplished and versatile drivers. He has won the DTM championship three times, in 2017, 2019, and 2020. Rast began his career in Formula BMW in 2003 and 2004 and took part in BMW M3 DTM testing in 2011 before the return of BMW M Motorsport to the DTM.

RoboMarkets has been an official partner of BMW M Motorsport since 2019 and extended the contract as a Premium Partner for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The partnership includes the race car's design in RoboMarkets' brand identity, its logo placement on various car parts, branding of the media stands and official team garage walls, and marketing opportunities.

"Both the BMW M4 GT3 and the colours of my partner RoboMarkets are new to me, but I really like the colour blue, and I look forward to my new look in the DTM. I will do my best to succeed for BMW M Motorsport, the Schubert team, and my partner. It is fantastic that I can race with number 33 again. It has become my trademark in the DTM over the years," Rast stated, expressing excitement for the new season.

The 2023 DTM season features eight races, beginning on 26 May in Germany. The series will continue in various locations across Europe until October.

Financial Companies Bet on Sport Sponsorship

In recent years, sports sponsorships have gained traction among businesses of all sizes, including forex brokerages. By partnering with sports teams, leagues, and individual athletes, forex brokerages and crypto exchanges can reach a wider audience and enhance their brand recognition, and this holds true for motorsports as well.

A few weeks ago, Malta-based OKX, a global crypto exchange, revealed the extension of its partnership with British Formula One (F1) team McLaren Racing. Additionally, crypto platform Kraken announced a global partnership ahead of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, becoming the first-ever official crypto and Web3 partner of an F1 team.

Meanwhile, forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker Trade Nation has expanded its sports sponsorship portfolio by striking deals with two domestic English cricket clubs, Hampshire Cricket and Southern Vipers. As part of the agreement, Trade Nation has become an official supporter of both clubs, with its logo displayed on the sleeves of all three Hampshire men's kits and the Southern Vipers kit.

Separately, Australia-based FX/CFDs broker Axi (formerly AxiTrader) announced the extension of its sports partnership with top English football club Manchester City FC, also expanding its sponsorship rights to include the Manchester City women's team.
