CySEC Warns Against Individuals Posing As CySEC Officers
- Unknown individuals have falsely been presenting themselves as CySEC officers using fake email addresses.

Unknown individuals who have falsely been presenting themselves as CySEC officers are known to have used email addresses such as international.affairs@cysec.info, and cysec@cyberservices.com, which do not belong to or are related to CySEC in any way.
A number of investors have been contacted using the above email addresses and through various means and claims, have been convinced to transfer funds to bank accounts they designated.
CySEC has stressed that it is not connected in any way with the above mentioned email addresses, individuals, and correspondence, and that it never sends unsolicited correspondence to investors or members of the public requesting their personal and banking information, or that they make any kind of financial transaction.
The Cyprus financial watchdog has urged the public to remain vigilant regarding such unsolicited communication and to confirm the authenticity of the communication by contacting them prior to taking any action.
