Your Bourse Opens Trade Server to AI Prompts for Hedging and Position Closures

Your Bourse opened Trade Server to AI assistants today (Tuesday). Broker staff can query live data and initiate permitted hedges or position closures, the company said.

For a risk or dealing desk, the connection puts account checks, custom reporting and trade instructions in the same conversation. That takes the protocol beyond the back-office data access introduced by Leverate in July, which did not extend to execution .

Your Bourse calls the product MCP for Trade Server. It is available to brokers already running the company's backend, according to the announcement. Your Bourse did not disclose pricing or adoption figures.

Trade Server handles brokerage functions including accounts, orders, routing, margin and reporting. MCP adds a conversational route to those existing functions rather than a separate set of trading permissions.

Exposure Queries Can Lead to Trade Actions

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects AI applications to external data and software tools. In this deployment, a broker can connect a compatible assistant using existing Trade Server credentials, then ask questions or issue instructions in plain language.

A risk manager could request total EUR/USD exposure or a list of accounts in negative equity. A dealer could initiate a hedge or close a position, while operations staff could carry out permitted changes to accounts and groups.

The same connection can search a trading journal when a client disputes an execution. Your Bourse also gave examples involving daily profitability reports, balance thresholds and comparisons between accounts, groups and books.

Teams can apply one check across a selected set of accounts or assemble a risk view that combines fields not shown together on a standard screen. The company positions that workflow as an alternative to a manual export or a new development request.

Trade Server reads current data when the request is made, the company said. An exported file may be stale by the time a desk reviews it.

Credentials Define the Boundary

Your Bourse said MCP inherits the permissions attached to the user's Trade Server credentials. A connected assistant should therefore see only the data and functions already available to that employee.

For instructions affecting positions or funds, the assistant first returns a preview. Execution follows only after a person approves the request, and Trade Server records the resulting action in the same way as one completed through its interface.

The official MCP tool specification recommends confirmation for sensitive operations and audit logging. However, Your Bourse did not specify whether its approval step is enforced inside Trade Server or depends on the connected AI client.

Running the connection locally may keep the integration inside the customer's own environment. The release does not explain what data a selected AI provider receives, which will depend in part on the assistant and deployment.

Broker Tools Join the MCP Rush
