FCA Warns against IIB International Broker Clone

The UK's financial markets regulator says the entity is using the name of an authorized Bulgaria-based firm

The Financial Conduct Authority, Britain’s financial industry watchdog, has issued a warning against a clone of IIB International Broker Limited.

The clone, named IIB International Broker, is targeting UK consumers by using the name of a company based in Bulgaria, authorized to provide financial services in the country.

The FCA went on to add in its warning that such scam companies sometimes mix false with factual information about the authorized firm in order to win the trust of their victims.
