Antelope Systems, a Cyprus headquartered call center management software and solutions company, announced on Thursday that it is now the official sponsor of Cyprus’ National Football Team.
At present, the team is currently in the midst of the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Nations League. This is an international football competition which is made up of the men’s national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA.
In September, the national team of Cyprus managed to achieve a 2:1 victory against Slovenia in a home game. The team will play in another four games against Bulgaria, Slovenia, and Norway. From here, the team aims to qualify for the EURO 2020. The draw will be announced at the beginning of December.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Costas Michaelides, the Vice President of the CFA, said: “we proudly present our new Sponsor, Antelope Systems, for the Cyprus Men’s National Team.”

“Antelope is an optimized call centre solutions company and we would like to welcome it under the umbrella of CFA and Cyprus football. I am absolutely confident that this will benefit both sides not only in the short-term but in the long-term too”.
Antelope Systems offers marketing, lead management, and phone systems for call centers. Recently, Finance Magnates reported that the firm broadened its product offering by launching a customer relationship management (CRM) system for MetaTrader 5 brokers. This was the first step the company had taken into the growing market of institutional solutions for MetaTrader 5.
The Similarities Between Football and Call Centres
Speaking on the announcement, Ori Hazan, the CEO of Antelope Systems added: “as a Cypriot company, we are excited and proud to sponsor the Cyprus National Team. It is an honor to contribute to local sport and to be associated with the team and the country. We are now supporters of the team in more than one way!
“We see a lot of comparisons with football and running a call center. In football you need strong management, tactics and teamwork to score goals and win matches. Our systems enable managers by automating tactics with intelligent algorithms which automatically assigns leads to agents by likelihood to convert more opportunities and hit their goals.”
