Monex Group Reports April 2015 Metrics, Declining MoM

Monex Group reported its financial results for the month ending April 2015, which marked the first report of the new fiscal year, according to a recent Monex Group statement.

Last month, Monex Group reported its quarterly results for the 4th quarter of the fiscal 2015 ending on the 31st of March, which showed lower figures than in Q3. Total operating revenues decreased modestly by 1.5% to $116.5 million (¥13.9 billion). Moreover, net income decreased materially by 20%, which netted the company $21 million (¥2.6 billion).

For the month ending April 2015, Monex Group revealed an operating revenue of $38.77 million (¥4.75 billion), a jump of 37.4% YoY from $28.22 million (¥3.46 billion) in April 2014. The picture becomes less rosy when weighed against last month, with operating revenue falling -7.4% MoM from $41.84 million (¥5.13 billion) in March 2015.
