On behalf of all the staff at Forex Magnates, we want to wish all of our readers an amazing and profitable 2013. One of the items we enjoy most is receiving comments and interacting with our audience. Looking towards the start of the year we want to know what our readers think are important areas that Forex Magnates should focus on in addition to the stuff we already do. Was there a story or topic you really liked, or one that you wish we never write about again? We want to know.
At Forex Magnates, our goal is to cover as much of the FX industry as possible in a transparent way. As such, we are constantly looking for new areas to feature and are always open to hearing about new companies, innovative products, and trends taking place.

My suggestions would be: 1. maybe enhence your editorial capabilities, sometimes spelling and grammar are out of whack. Possibly a dedicated editor, who goes over the material, prior to publication? In my opinion its more than just a superficial matter and necessary if you want to take the next step. 2. Forex Magnates is a very industry friendly site. I think a bit more professional distance would be warrented. For example, i remember lots of pieces about regulation taking a very aggressive stance and language, i don’t remember anything in this fashion about an industry matter. I’m not saying you… Read more »
More will come to me later I’m sure, but: 1. If you’re going to do opinion articles, then pulling in some guest authors with different (even opposing views) would be very interesting. 2. I second the call for more interviews. Specifically, I’d love to read more from people within the industry (and not just so they can talk marketing points about their product.) 3. More focus on innovative changes within the industry, be it technology wise, by business model, etc.. anything that’s different from the norm. 4. excellent points thank you
@Jack – funny that you mention the profitability numbers. Its something that I’ve been trying to figure out as well. In an interview with IB, they basically said, our numbers are high bc our platform is hard to understand so it weeds out the newbies. Maybe it does come down to MT4 = worse traders, but not all proprietary platforms are much better since Gain and FXCM figures are pretty bad as well. But, as you said, this is for another article, thanks for mentioning it.
Sorry Michael, but I do agree with Andy’s second point… Still love the site
There are grammar mistakes and misspellings
you need a Native English sub-editor
1) Grammar has not been that bad. But I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to have a grammar check.
2) I would like to have a weekly email digest of all news, retail-only, or institutional, only news.
3) Jack has made some great points. In the interviews, I would like more specifics on what problem the proposed product solves. If there is an existing product on the market, how is it different than competitors?
thanks
