CurrencyCloud, a solutions provider of API, Risk Management , and Payments engines, has secured the services of Ed Addario as its newest Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with immediate effect, according to a company statement.

In his new position Mr. Addario will help managed a burgeoning team of technologists responsible for engineering APIs to drive payments processing at third party companies.

He steps into the role from Misys, having worked as its Global Head of Architecture and Integration. Additionally, he has also held senior level stints as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Technology at Monitise, a financial services technology group.

According to Mr. Addario, in a recent statement on joining the company: “As a tech enthusiast, I’m excited by the opportunity to be part of a company that is leading the digital revolution and to work with APIs that are built by developers, for developers.”

“I am looking forward to leading the team as we continue working to enable the next generation of companies to realise the true potential of the digital economy,” he added.
