AxiomSL Appoints Olivier Kamoun as its Global Chief Product Officer

Mr. Kamoun is being promoted, having served in a lead role in AxiomSL's APAC unit for over five years.

AxiomSL, a provider of regulatory reporting, data, and risk management solutions, has announced its newest senior appointment, tapping Olivier Kamoun as the its newest Global Chief Product Officer, per a company statement.

The appointment of Mr. Kamoun helps address AxiomSL’s emphasis on developing new solutions in the face of a shifting regulatory atmosphere around the financial services industry. In his new role Mr. Kamoun will be tasked with heading AxiomSL’s overall product innovation and strategy.

Mr. Kamoun is hardly a new face at AxiomSL, having spent the past five years with the group, helping lead its developmental presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region – this region in particular has progressed from a start-up to multi-country regional presence. Prior to joining AxiomSL, Mr. Kamoun served as the founder of a risk consultancy as well as a multi-asset hedge fund.

According to Alex Tsigutkin, AxiomSL’s CEO, in a recent statement on the appointment: “Olivier is a proven strategist with an excellent understanding of today’s constantly evolving, technology-driven marketplace. Our goal is to continue to provide greater value for our customers by driving further innovation with new products and standardisation in our existing core offerings.”

“Throughout his career, Olivier has been a visionary and an accomplished leader. In his previous position as AxiomSL Asia Pacific (APAC) CEO, Olivier had been instrumental in setting up our operations and I believe his intimate involvement with both the global product development and sales teams have provided him up with a solid foundation to tackle this new role,” he added.
