ADS Securities, a comprehensive provider of foreign exchange (FX) and contracts-for-difference (CFDs), has undergone another move in its personnel group, this time bolstering its prime of prime (PoP) solutions with the addition of Louisa Kwok, who joins the group with immediate effect, according to an ADS report.
In her new role, Ms. Kwok will work as its Head of PoP Sales. She arrives from BNP Paribas. This hire represents ADS’ latest bid to help fill the credit void being left by prime brokers – the industry itself has been shaken up over the past few years, including an acute decline in the number of banks offering FX-specific prime brokerage services.
Prime Brokerage Veteran
Prior to joining ADS Securities, Ms. Kwok worked at BNP Paribas as its European Head of Client Solutions and Fixed Income Client Clearing. Additionally she worked as its Head of Relationship Management – EMEA, Prime Solutions & Financing, part of four year tenure with the lender.

Additional stops also include Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan, working exclusively in the prime brokerage space, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.
According to Marco Baggioli, Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Brokerage at ADS Securities, in a recent statement on the appointment: “Louisa has a wealth of experience in Prime Brokerage and is well aware of the challenges and opportunities facing the market. I am confident that her knowledge and experience will help grow and expand ADS’ true Prime of Prime offering.”
“We are particularly excited about Prime of Prime’s potential in emerging markets, and have also seen tremendous demand for improved access and liquidity to NDF pricing. In her global remit Louisa will play an instrumental role in helping bring international and local liquidity together,” he added.
The hire of Ms. Kwok is the latest move at ADS Securities since the departure of Nour Eldeen Al-Hammoury, the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Market Strategist earlier this month.
