Nasdaq Installs Salil Donde as Its Executive VP, Head of Global Information Services

Nasdaq has tapped Salil Donde as its newest executive vice president and head of global information services. His appointment is slated to take effect on February 5, 2015.

In this role as the executive VP and head of global information services, Mr. Donde will be tasked with spearheading the direction and strategy of Nasdaq’s data and index products. He will be based out of New York and will be reporting to Adena Friedman, president of Nasdaq.

According to a recent statement from Ms. Friedman on the appointment, "Nasdaq's Global Information Services business has always been about delivering unmatched market transparency and unique index solutions for our clients. Salil's appointment represents our unwavering commitment to innovation and client partnerships as we continue to grow and expand our index and data offerings worldwide."
