In his new role as head of MFX Compass sales, Mr. Robinson will be based out of London, where he will help foster the global distribution of MFX Compass institutional e-FX trading technology. The move is part of a broader ambition to target brokerage firms in the North American, European and Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Mr. Robinson joins from Goldman Sachs where he served as its managing director and global head of e-FX sales. Before this he also worked in executive level roles at Barclays Capital and Bloomberg.

According to David Cooney, MahiFX co-founder and CEO, in a recent statement on the appointment, “Both Susan and I have worked together closely with Tom in the past and we know that he brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge.
“He is well respected within the industry both among clients and colleagues and we are confident that Tom will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality solutions and services to our clients. We look forward to working together again and, of course, converting him to the All Blacks.”
