The software development company MetaQuotes Software Corp and global financial news publisher International Business Times (IBTimes) have joined hands to offer integrated newswire and trading platform services to retail brokers and traders.

The real time newswire service by IBTimes on forex and global multi-asset class will now be available by default on MetaTrader4 and MetaTrader 5 for brokerage firms that use MetaTrader. The partnership is expected to cut significant costs and optimize the operations of financial institutions offering brokerage services.

The partnership will enhance the capabilities of the MetaTrader platform thus making it a one-stop trading platform solution with a complete set of features required for offering retail brokerage service. The combined package will provide brokerages and financial institutions with a plug-and-play trading platform that will reduce significant overheads for brokers who wish to optimize their platform maintenance, cut down on costs and associated IT works.

Commenting on the partnership, MetaQuotes’ CEO Renat Fatkhullin said: “This joint package will enrich the capabilities of our trading platforms and we are very glad that together with the platform we can offer a high quality newswire feed to our clients. It will remove additional problems for them as they will get a fully operable package at once.

“We believe that the partnership is in mutual interests and is based on long term understanding and cooperation. News feeds in MT4 and MT5 platforms are the first step of this partnership. Through this partnership we will be able to provide better and more efficient services and products to our clients and end users in due course of time.”

Etienne Uzac, CEO of IBTimes commented, “Retail forex trading has seen an explosive growth in the recent years. We believe there is a genuine gap in providing retail traders with highly relevant and easy to understand forex news at an economic pricing. The newswire by IBTimes is currently available in English, Chinese and Korean, with several more languages in the pipeline. For Brokers of commodities, indices, equities and other asset classes we provide our broad ranged multi-asset class newswire.

“Partnering with MetaQuotes has given us the right platform to reach out to several thousands of retail traders worldwide. MetaTrader has been the leader in forex trading platforms and this cooperation will lead to better products and services for both parties.”

The longterm partnership will come into effect from 1st of February, 2011 and was signed by Renat Fatkhullin, CEO of MetaQuotes Corp and Dr Dev Pragad, Global Operations Director of International Business Times.
