IG Group publishes 2011 results - Net Revenue up 7%, Clients up 11%

IG Group just reported its results for the 2011 fiscal year (for IG it ends on May 31st). Bottom line is that IG's Net Revenue is up 7% to £320.4 million. Number of clients grew 11% year on year (13% if excluding Japan).

IG Group's Net trading revenue by region:

• UK grew by 3%
• Australia grew by 4%
• Europe by whopping 21%
• Singapore by 38%
• Japan dropped 14%
• ROW grew by amazing 52%

Out of the £312.7 million earned by the company from financial business, the breakdown was as follows:

• Equity Indices 36% = £112.57 million
