State Street bank, one of the worlds largest custodian banks, has announced the introduction of a market data tool specifically designed for fund managers.

The bank launches the State Street Fund InsightsSM Valuation Toolkit, a solution that offers managers a selection of prices for securities across a range of vendors and fund providers.

Regulation is making it difficult for managers to have quality information to make accurate assumptions.

State Street was under scrutiny by US courts after state pension funds were allegedly given bad FX pricing.
