Hazelcast, a provider of operational in-memory computing, has teamed up with Solace, a provider of open data movement technology, to provide a new joint solution which enables multi-cloud and hybrid cloud replication of Hazelcast clusters for worldwide operation. The solution enables enterprise grade reliability, WAN scale-out and low latency cluster replication.
Hazelcast’s In-Memory Data Grid helps companies, including Capital One, Chicago Board Options Exchange, Deutsche Bank, Ellie Mae, and Mizuho Securities USA, manage their data and distribute processing using in-memory storage and parallel execution for breakthrough application speed and scale.

Integration with Hazelcast Nodes

Solace integration brings true enterprise WAN distribution to Hazelcast.
Earlier this year, the company integrated its solution with online forex broker FxPro to handle a wide range of internal and customer facing applications, as reported by Finance Magnates.
Solace integrates with Hazelcast nodes in an in-memory cluster to provide a distributed and decoupled publish/subscribe backbone that is optimised for efficient WAN synchronization. Solace uses advanced compression, TCP protocol optimization and route optimization to maximize data throughput and minimize latency over the WAN.
