BGC Partners Announces the Acquisition of the Business of Sterling International Brokers Limited
BGC Brokers L.P., an entity within the BGC Partners, announced it has acquired the business and certain assets of Sterling International Brokers Limited, a London-based broking firm specializing in Sterling and other major currency transactions.

Previously owned by the Skipton Building Society, Sterling International Brokers' clients include banks, building societies, the public sector and commercial participants in the Sterling and Currency markets. It is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
