Hong Kong Exchange Launches New Stock Option Classes, Futures

The option classes and 18 of the stock futures will be active from November 30, and the rest of the futures will be launched on December 7.
The stock option classes include shares of a property company, Cheung Kong Property Holdings Ltd., and Chinese nuclear utility CGN Power Co., Ltd. The contract size for Cheung Kong Property Holdings is 1,000 shares in two board lots, and the size for CGN’s stock is 10,000 shares in 10 lots. The trading tariff per side is HKD 3 ($0.39). The contract months for these contracts are from December this year to March 2016, then June and September 2016.
