In light of the widespread changes poised to shake up the financial services industry, the 2017 Finance Magnates London Summit has opted to feature a range of sessions, panels, and workshops touching on these developments.

The summit will be delving into the field of RegTech, as well as detailing the Global FX code implemented earlier this year. Focus: RegTech has been one of the biggest buzzwords over the past couple of years. The seminar will survey the latest developments in regulatory technology and will explain where the field is heading. Additionally, the discussion will touch on a wide range of topics such as cost savings as well as improved compliance using the latest technology, such as AI.

Distributed Ledger Seminar

Time: 14:15-14:45

Place: Seminar room

Speakers: James Maudslay, Global Head of Financial Services at Equinix; Justin Nesbitt, Sales Director at Equinix; Jarrod Yuster, CEO of Pico; and Adrian Patten, Chairman at Cobalt.

Focus: Blockchain technology has been the biggest driver of research and development in 2017, permeating the trading and banking space, among others. The moderated panel will include an introduction by Equinix as well as a short presentation from Cobalt.

Risk Management Workshop
