XTX Markets has warned against fraudulent
schemes falsely associated with its brand. According to the company, fraudulent foreign exchange (FX) and cryptocurrency scams are on the rise and are perpetrated by websites,
individuals, and entities claiming affiliation with the firm.
XTX Markets has clarified that it does not issue
cryptocurrencies nor provide services on any retail FX or cryptocurrency
platforms. Additionally, the firm emphasized that it does not engage with
individual or retail investors in any product, including cryptocurrencies and
FX.
Identifying the Fraudulent Claims
XTX Markets clarified that the only official
websites operated by the company are XTXMARKETS.COM and AIMOPRIZE.COM, the
latter being the platform for the AIMO Prize. Any other website purportedly
representing XTX Markets is fraudulent and should be approached with caution.
The company has urged users to remain vigilant
and exercise caution when approached by anyone claiming to offer XTX
Markets-branded cryptocurrency or trading services. The firm mentioned that
these individuals are not affiliated with the company in any manner. Besides that, XTX markets have advised clients who
suspect fraudulent activity to promptly report it to local authorities.
Last year, XTX Markets launched a fund worth $10 million towards the development of AI models capable of achieving gold
medals in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). According to a report
by Finance Magnates, this initiative aims to boost innovation in the artificial intelligence space.
Dubbed the AI-MO Prize, this challenge offers a grand prize of $5
million for the initial publicly-shared AI model that demonstrates
performance equivalent to securing a gold medal in the IMO. Furthermore, prizes of up to $5 million in progress will be awarded for AI models reaching key milestones.
